3.CHECK COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT (HARNESS) (OPEN CIRCUIT). 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Disconnect the combination meter connector. 3) Disconnect the warning box connector. 4) Measure the resistance between combination meter connector and warning box connector. Connector & terminal (i10) No. 12 — (R161) No. 3: | Is the resistance less than 10 -- | Replace the warning box. Warning Box | Repair the open circuit of harness between combination meter connector and warning box connector. |
4.CHECK CONNECTOR. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Disconnect the combination meter connector. 3) Disconnect the warning box connector. | Is there any fault in the connector- | Repair or replace the connector. | Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause. |
