2.CHECK REAR GATE. Hold the rear gate at the fully open position. | Does it hold at the fully open position- | Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B2512 DAMPER BREAKAGE | Replace the rear gate damper stay. Rear Gate > REMOVAL |
3.CHECK PRG CM. 1) Close the rear gate fully. 2) Press the operation switch to perform the auto-open operation to a full open position. 3) Repeat the auto-open operation at least three times. 4) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 5) Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read DTC of PRG CM. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) | Is DTC B2512 displayed- (Current malfunction) | Replace the PRG CM. Power Rear Gate Control Module | Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause. |
