DTC DETECTING CONDITION:

Abrupt drop in the rear gate has been detected after PRG operation stopped.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

Does not hold at the full-open position.

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK REAR GATE CONDITION. Check the rear gate.	Is there any non genuine parts equipped to the rear gate- Or does it have foreign objects such as snow-	Remove non genuine parts or foreign objects. 2.CHECK REAR GATE. Hold the rear gate at the fully open position.	Does it hold at the fully open position-	Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B2512 DAMPER BREAKAGE	Replace the rear gate damper stay. Rear Gate > REMOVAL
3.CHECK PRG CM. 1) Close the rear gate fully. 2) Press the operation switch to perform the auto-open operation to a full open position. 3) Repeat the auto-open operation at least three times. 4) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 5) Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read DTC of PRG CM. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)	Is DTC B2512 displayed- (Current malfunction)	Replace the PRG CM. Power Rear Gate Control Module	Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
