1.CHECK CLOSER UNIT. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Disconnect the PRG CM connector in the order of (R423) > (R422). 3) Disconnect the PRG auto closer connector. 4) Perform the operation check for the PRG auto closer motor. Power Rear Gate Auto Closer > INSPECTION | Does it operate properly- | Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again. 2.CHECK HARNESS (OPEN CIRCUIT). Using a tester, measure the resistance between the PRG CM connector and PRG auto closer connector. Connector & terminal (R423) No. 2 — (D153) No. 1: (R423) No. 3 — (D153) No. 2: (R422) No. 9 — (D153) No. 4: | Is the resistance less than 10 -- | Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC B2526 AUTO CLOSER MOTOR CIRCUIT OPEN | Repair or replace the open circuit of harness. |
3.CHECK HARNESS (GROUND SHORT CIRCUIT). Using a tester, measure the resistance between the PRG CM connector and chassis ground. Connector & terminal (R423) No. 2 — Chassis ground: (R423) No. 3 — Chassis ground: | Is the resistance 1 M- or more- | Replace the PRG CM. Power Rear Gate Control Module | Repair or replace the short circuit of the harness. |
