1. CHECK HAZARD LIGHT SYSTEM

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK HAZARD LIGHT OPERATION. 1) Turn the hazard switch to ON. 2) Check that the hazard light operates properly.	Does the hazard light blink-	The hazard light system is normal.	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION
2.CHECK BULB. Check the hazard (turn signal) light bulb.	Is the bulb normal-	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION	Replace the hazard (turn signal) light bulb.
3.CHECK CURRENT DATA. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, display the data of «Hazard switch Input». NOTE: For detailed procedures, refer to “Application help”.	Does the display change to OFF ←> ON, when the hazard switch is turned to ON-	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION
4.CHECK HAZARD SWITCH. Check the hazard switch. Hazard Switch > INSPECTION	Is the hazard switch normal-	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION	Replace the hazard switch.
5.CHECK HARNESS. 1) Disconnect the connectors of body integrated unit and hazard switch. 2) Check the harness between body integrated unit and hazard switch.	Is harness normal-	Check the body integrated unit and replace it if defective. Basic Diagnostic Procedure	Repair or replace the harness.
6.CHECK CURRENT DATA. Display the data of «Left turn signal output» and «Right turn signal output» using Subaru Select Monitor.	Does the display change to OFF ←> ON, when the hazard switch is turned to ON-	Check the body integrated unit and replace it if defective. Basic Diagnostic Procedure	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION
7.CHECK HARNESS. 1) Disconnect the connectors of body integrated unit and each turn signal light. 2) Check the harness between body integrated unit and each turn signal light.	Is harness normal-	Check the body integrated unit and replace it if defective. Basic Diagnostic Procedure	Repair or replace the harness.

2. CHECK TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SYSTEM

1.CHECK TURN SIGNAL LIGHT OPERATION. 1) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 2) Turn the turn signal light switch LH and RH to ON.	Does the turn signal light blink-	The turn signal light system is normal.	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION
2.CHECK CURRENT DATA. Display the data of «Left turn signal input» and «Right turn signal input» using Subaru Select Monitor. NOTE: For detailed procedures, refer to “Application help”.	Does the display change to OFF ←> ON, when the turn signal switch is turned to ON-	Check the body integrated unit and replace it if defective. Basic Diagnostic Procedure	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION
3.CHECK TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. Check the turn signal switch. Hazard Switch > INSPECTION	Is the turn signal switch OK-	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION	Replace the combination switch (light).
4.CHECK HARNESS. 1) Disconnect the connectors of body integrated unit and combination switch (light). 2) Check the harness between body integrated unit and combination switch (light).	Is harness normal-	Check the body integrated unit and replace it if defective. Basic Diagnostic Procedure	Repair or replace the harness.

3. CHECK OF LANE CHANGE SIGNAL

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:

Lane change signal does not operate.

STEP	CHECK	YES	NO
1.CHECK HAZARD LIGHT SYSTEM. Check the hazard light system. Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION	Is the hazard light system normal-	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION	Repair the hazard light system.
2.CHECK TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SYSTEM. Check the turn signal light system. Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION	Is the turn signal light system normal-	Turn Signal Light and Hazard Light System > INSPECTION	Repair the turn signal light system.
3.CHECK BODY INTEGRATED UNIT SETTING. Display the data of «Lane change signal setting» using Subaru Select Monitor. NOTE: For detailed procedures, refer to “Application help”.	Is the setting ON-	Check the body integrated unit and replace it if defective. Basic Diagnostic Procedure	Turn the setting to ON.

4. CHECK TURN SIGNAL SWITCH

Refer to “Combination Switch (Light)”. Combination Switch (Light) > INSPECTION

5. CHECK HAZARD SWITCH

Refer to “Hazard Switch”. Hazard Switch > INSPECTION
