2.CHECK FUNCTION. 1) Wait until the buzzer sound stops in step 1. 3.CHECK FUNCTION. 1) Wait until the buzzer sound stops in step 2. 4.CHECK DATA MONITOR. Check for poor contact of the connectors between the airbag control module and the seat belt buckle switch LH. 1) Sit in the driver’s seat. 2) Select «Data monitor» in the combination meter in Subaru Select Monitor, and display the data of «Belt Buckle Switch LH». 3) Fasten and detach the driver’s side seat belt buckle, and read the data of the seat belt switch. 10.CHECK WARNING BOX POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE. 1) Disconnect the warning box connector. 2) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 3) Measure the voltage between the ignition power supply and the warning box. Connector & terminal (R353) No. 2 (+) — Chassis ground (−): | Is the voltage 10 V or more- | Seat Belt Warning System > INSPECTION | Check the harness for open or short between the fuse and the warning box. |
11.CHECK WARNING BOX GROUND CIRCUIT. 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Measure the resistance between the warning box and chassis ground. 12.CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN WARNING BOX AND COMBINATION METER. 1) Disconnect the harness of the warning box and the combination meter. 2) Measure the resistance between warning box and combination meter.
