LOST LIN COMMUNICATION WITH BATTERY "1" MONITOR MODULE

1. PREPARATION FOR THE INSPECTION MODE

Check that the battery voltage is 12 V or more and fuel remains approx. half [20 — 40 L (5.3 — 10.6 US gal, 4.4 — 8.8 Imp gal)].

2. SUBARU SELECT MONITOR

1. Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Clear Memory Mode

2. Read the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and check that no DTC is displayed. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)

NOTE:

If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis using “Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)”. Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).

3. Start the engine, and run the engine at idle for 10 seconds or more.

4. Read the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and check the DTC. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)

NOTE:

If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis using “Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)”. Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) After solving the DTC, repeat from step 1).

3. GENERAL SCAN TOOL

NOTE:

For detailed operation procedures, refer to the general scan tool operation manual.

1. Perform the Clear Memory Mode. General Scan Tool > OPERATION

2. Read the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and check that no DTC is displayed. General Scan Tool > OPERATION

NOTE:
