NOTE: Before installation, remove mud and foreign matter from the disc brake assembly. 1. Check the rear disc rotor. Rear Disc Rotor > INSPECTION 2. Install the rear disc rotor. NOTE: When installing the rear disc rotor, match the alignment mark (a) of the rear disc rotor and the alignment mark (b) of the bolt - hub. 3. Install the disc brake assembly. Tightening torque: Mounting bolt: 66 N·m (6.7 kgf-m, 48.7 ft-lb) Brake hose bracket: 33 N·m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.3 ft-lb) 4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE 5. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, exit the brake maintenance mode according to the display screen. Parking Brake System > OPERATION NOTE: For detailed operation procedures, refer to “Application help”. 6. After the operation is completed, apply and release the parking brake five times and ensure that the brake operates normally. 7. Install the rear wheels. Tightening torque: 120 N·m (12.2 kgf-m, 88.5 ft-lb) |
