1. Adjust the tilt position of the steering column to the neutral position. CAUTION: Always place the tilt lever to the lock position after the steering column is adjusted. 2. Remove the under cover - front. Front Under Cover > REMOVAL 3. Remove the front exhaust pipe. (H6 model only) Front Exhaust Pipe > REMOVAL 4. Remove the universal joint assembly - steering. (1) Place alignment marks on the universal joint assembly - steering. NOTE: Place alignment marks on the following positions. • Between the column assembly - steering and the universal joint assembly - steering • Between the steering gearbox assembly and the universal joint assembly - steering (2) Remove the bolt, and remove the universal joint assembly - steering. 5. Set the driver’s seat to the neutral position. 6. Prevent the steering wheel from turning using the seat belt. |
Tire inspection
Check on a daily basis that the tires are
free from serious damage, nails, and
stones. At the same time, check the tires
for abnormal wear.
