1. TRANSMITTER (TIRE INFLATION PRESSURE SENSOR) 1. Remove the wheels from the vehicle. Tire and Wheel > REMOVAL 2. Remove the tires from wheels. CAUTION: Use a tire changer when removing the tire from the wheel. 3. Loosen the screw to remove the transmitter from the valve stem. CAUTION: Do not reuse the valve and screw. Replace the valve and screw with a new part even when reusing transmitter.
4. Remove the valve from the wheel. 2. TPMS & KEYLESS CONTROL MODULE NOTE: • TPMS control module for model without keyless access with push button start system is integrated with the keyless entry control module. For removal procedures, refer to “SECURITY AND LOCKS” section. Keyless Entry Control Module > REMOVAL • Re-register the key and the transmitter ID when TPMS & keyless entry control module has been replaced. • Keyless transmitter re-registration: Keyless Transmitter > REPLACEMENT • Transmitter ID re-registration: Register Transmitter (ID) 3. TPMS CM NOTE: • TPMS control module for model with keyless access with push button start system is installed in the same position as the keyless entry control module for model without keyless access with push button start system. For removal procedures, refer to “SECURITY AND LOCKS” section. Keyless Entry Control Module > REMOVAL • Re-register the transmitter ID when the TPMS control module has been replaced.
