.CHECK BATTERY. 1) Turn the ignition switch to ON. 2) Check the battery voltage. Battery > INSPECTION Battery > INSPECTION | Is the voltage 10 — 15 V- | Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1951 ACTUATOR | Charge or replace the battery. Check the generator circuit. |
.CHECK VDCCM&H/U GROUND CIRCUIT (CHECK FOR OPEN CIRCUIT). 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Disconnect the connector from the VDCCM&H/U. 3) Measure the resistance between VDCCM&H/U connector and chassis ground. Connector & terminal (B310) No. 46 — Chassis ground: | Is the resistance less than 10 -- | Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1951 ACTUATOR | Repair the VDCCM&H/U ground circuit. |
.CHECK HARNESS (CHECK FOR OPEN CIRCUIT). 1) Turn the ignition switch to OFF. 2) Disconnect the connectors from rear brake caliper. 3) Measure the resistance between VDCCM&H/U and rear brake caliper connector. Connector & terminal (B310) No. 34 — (R153) No. 2: (B310) No. 35 — (R153) No. 1: (B310) No. 44 — (R154) No. 1: (B310) No. 45 — (R154) No. 2: | Is the resistance less than 1 -- | Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1951 ACTUATOR | Repair harness and connector between VDCCM&H/U and rear brake caliper connector. |
.CHECK POOR CONTACT OF CONNECTORS. | Is there poor contact of power supply circuit, ground circuit and VDCCM&H/U connector- | | Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1951 ACTUATOR |
.CHECK DRIVER’S DOOR SWITCH. Check the driver’s door switch. Keyless Entry System > INSPECTION | Is the driver’s door switch normal- | Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1951 ACTUATOR | Repair the driver’s door switch or circuit. |
.CHECK VDCCM&H/U. 1) Connect all connectors. 2) Perform the Clear Memory Mode. Clear Memory Mode 3) Set the hill hold function to ON. 4) Read the DTC. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) | Is the same DTC displayed- | Replace the VDCCM&H/U. VDC Control Module and Hydraulic Control Unit (VDCCM&H/U) | Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) > DTC C1951 ACTUATOR |
.CHECK DETECTION OF OTHER DTCS FOR VDC. Read Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) | Is any other DTC displayed- | Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. List of Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) | Currently, it is normal. There may have been a poor contact in the harness and connector or a temporarily noise interference. NOTE: This DTC may be stored, if the driver’s door is opened while the electronic parking brake is operating. Therefore, check the freeze frame data. |
