Subaru Legacy BN/BS (2015-2019) Service Manual: Installation

1. RADIO ANTENNA AMPLIFIER

1. Install the amplifier assembly - antenna.

Tightening torque:

12±3 N·m (1.2±0.3 kgf-m, 8.9±2.2 ft-lb)

2. Install the trim panel - rear pillar UPR LH. (Sedan model)

3. Install the trim panel - rear gate UPR. (OUTBACK model)

4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

2. XM SATELLITE RADIO/TELEMATICS ANTENNA

1. Install the antenna assembly - roof.

Tightening torque:

4.5±1.0 N·m (0.5±0.1 kgf-m, 3.3±0.7 ft-lb)

2. Install the trim panel - roof assembly. Roof Trim > INSTALLATION

3. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

3. ANTENNA FEEDER CORD

1. Install the cord assembly - antenna feeder and the trim panel - roof assembly. Roof Trim > INSTALLATION

2. Install the floor mat.

3. Install the front cover - side sill and the cover side sill - front.

4. Install the passenger’s seat. Front Seat > INSTALLATION

5. Install the cover assembly - front and the console box assembly.

Tightening torque:

6.5 N·m (0.6 kgf-m, 4.8 ft-lb)

6. Install the audio assembly or navigation assembly. Audio > INSTALLATION

7. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE

4. TELEMATICS SUB ANTENNA

CAUTION:

After installing the center grille assembly, check that the air vent grille of the center grille assembly is inserted correctly into the air vent duct.

1. Install the telematics sub antenna.

2. Install the audio assembly or navigation assembly.

3. Install the heater control assembly.

4. Install the center grille assembly.

5. Install the combination meter assembly.

Tightening torque:

7 N·m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)

6. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE
