1. SEDAN MODEL CAUTION: If the hook - rear seat is disconnected from the vehicle body, make sure to replace the hook - rear seat with a new part to prevent the decline of the fixed force of the seat.
1. Install the backrest assembly - rear seat. Tightening torque: 53 N·m (5.4 kgf-m, 39.1 ft-lb) 2. Install the side pad assembly - backrest. Tightening torque: 53 N·m (5.4 kgf-m, 39.1 ft-lb) 3. Install the rear seat cushion. 4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE 2. OUTBACK MODEL CAUTION: If the hook - rear seat is disconnected from the vehicle body, make sure to replace the hook - rear seat with a new part to prevent the decline of the fixed force of the seat.

Install the rear seat cushion. 4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE 3. BACKREST TILT MECHANISM (SEDAN MODEL) 1. Install the lock assembly - backrest. Tightening torque: 24.5 N·m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.1 ft-lb) 2. Install the release lever assembly. 3. Return the backrest to the original position, and move the release lever to check the operation. 4. BACKREST TILT MECHANISM (OUTBACK MODEL) CAUTION: If the hook - rear seat is disconnected from the vehicle body, make sure to replace the hook - rear seat with a new part to prevent the decline of the fixed force of the seat.
1. Install the release button - rear backrest and the remote lever cable. 2. Install the backrest assembly - rear seat. Tightening torque: 53 N·m (5.4 kgf-m, 39.1 ft-lb) 3. Install the lever assembly - rear backrest. 4. Install the trim panel - rear apron. 5. Install the side pad assembly - backrest. Tightening torque: 53 N·m (5.4 kgf-m, 39.1 ft-lb) 6. Install the rear seat cushion. 7. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE 5. RECLINING MECHANISM (OUTBACK MODEL) CAUTION: If the hook - rear seat is disconnected from the vehicle body, make sure to replace the hook - rear seat with a new part to prevent the decline of the fixed force of the seat.
1. Install the striker - backrest rear. Tightening torque: 33 N·m (3.4 kgf-m, 24.3 ft-lb) 2. Install the trim panel - rear apron. 3. Install the lever assembly - reclining. (1) Connect the reclining cable. (1) With the lock (b) down, pull out the connecting portion (a). (2) With the connecting portion (a) pulled out, pull up the lock (b). NOTE: The connection cannot be completed, even if the lock (b) is pulled up while the connecting portion (a) is in the case. (3) Connect the cables, attach the case (c), and push down the lock (b).
4. Install the side pad assembly - backrest. Tightening torque: 53 N·m (5.4 kgf-m, 39.1 ft-lb) 5. Install the rear seat cushion. 6. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. NOTE |
